New Venture Creation FacilitatorList Item 1
Role Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to facilitate the New Venture Creation program (SAQA Qualification 66249), which aims to equip learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to establish and develop their own business ventures. The facilitator will help learners navigate and overcome various economic, administrative, and behavioral barriers, contributing to the success and sustainability of their business ventures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the New Venture Creation program in line with the SAQA Qualification 66249.
• Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions that cover the establishment and development of small to medium business ventures.
• Provide learners with practical skills and knowledge to start and sustain their businesses especially in agriculture.
• Address and help learners overcome economic, administrative, and psycho-social barriers.
• Assess learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
• Support learners in developing business plans and strategies for their ventures.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions and learner progress.
• Collaborate with the training team to continuously improve the program content and delivery.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in facilitating the New Venture Creation program (SAQA Qualification 66249).
• In-depth understanding of the challenges and barriers faced by new business ventures.
• Strong knowledge of small to medium business development processes and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Relevant qualification in business, education, or a related field.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in new venture creation facilitation related unit standards
• Minimum 2 year practical experience in furniture making,
• Passion and commitment to respecting diversity and equality and an understanding of these issues;
• Ability to train in at least 2 of the following languages: English, Setswana, Sotho, Zulu
• Highly computer literate - Microsoft Office, e-mail and internet;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Prepared to relocate for more than 6 months to anywhere in South Africa
• Diploma or degree in business related studies(Business Admistration, BCom, etc)
